Railsbased.org is a simple collection of reusable, extensible and open sourced applications built with the famous Ruby on Rails Framework, more or less related to Content Management and under active development (other applications are welcome though).
Why
Although Ruby on Rails lets you build web applications very quickly, I always missed a Content Management System with basic functionality like users, pages, multiple languages, etc which is extensible and modular.
However, I still did not find the right one that really suits my needs, but I was tired of looking through forum posts, old articles and unrelated search results, and thus created this page.
I don't want to judge or rate the applications listed here in any way, instead I want to give a central list of links and features for people who need an overview of whats available.
